Add Signal8 to Windsurf

    Open ~/.codeium/windsurf/mcp_config.json and merge this in. Keep any servers already there.

    Save the file and restart Windsurf.

    Ask for something get_float does. Windsurf lists the server's tools on connect and calls get_float itself — you do not invoke it by name.

    If nothing happens, check the server is running and that Signal8's identifier in your config matches the one above exactly.

Set these first

Signal8 will not start until these are set, so get_float never becomes available.
