Open ~/.config/zed/settings.json and merge this in. Keep any servers already there.

Save the file and restart Zed.

Ask for something explain_application_step does. Zed lists the server's tools on connect and calls explain_application_step itself — you do not invoke it by name.

If nothing happens, check the server is running and that Easy Labs MCP Server's identifier in your config matches the one above exactly.

Set these first
Easy Labs MCP Server will not start until these are set, so explain_application_step never becomes available.
