Add Hovercode to Windsurf

    Open ~/.codeium/windsurf/mcp_config.json and merge this in. Keep any servers already there.

    Save the file and restart Windsurf.

    Ask for something get_qr_activity does. Windsurf lists the server's tools on connect and calls get_qr_activity itself — you do not invoke it by name.

    If nothing happens, check the server is running and that Hovercode's identifier in your config matches the one above exactly.

Hovercode will not start until these are set, so get_qr_activity never becomes available.
