Save the file and restart Claude Desktop.

Ask for something microsoft_docs_fetch does. Claude Desktop lists the server's tools on connect and calls microsoft_docs_fetch itself — you do not invoke it by name.

If nothing happens, check the server is running and that Microsoft Learn MCP's identifier in your config matches the one above exactly.
