Run this in your project directory.
claude mcp add mcp-server-supabase -e SUPABASE_ACCESS_TOKEN=<SUPABASE_ACCESS_TOKEN> -- npx -y @supabase/mcp-server-supabase-

Restart your session so the server is picked up.

Ask for something execute_sql does. Claude Code lists the server's tools on connect and calls execute_sql itself — you do not invoke it by name.

If nothing happens, check the server is running and that Supabase's identifier in your config matches the one above exactly.

Supabase will not start until these are set, so execute_sql never becomes available.
