Save the file and restart Claude Desktop.

Ask for something base_simulate_transfer does. Claude Desktop lists the server's tools on connect and calls base_simulate_transfer itself — you do not invoke it by name.

If nothing happens, check the server is running and that base onchain tools's identifier in your config matches the one above exactly.
