Open .vscode/mcp.json and merge this in. Keep any servers already there.

Save the file and restart VS Code.

Ask for something chieflab_search_capabilities does. VS Code lists the server's tools on connect and calls chieflab_search_capabilities itself — you do not invoke it by name.

If nothing happens, check the server is running and that ChiefLab's identifier in your config matches the one above exactly.

ChiefLab will not start until these are set, so chieflab_search_capabilities never becomes available.
