Open ~/.config/zed/settings.json and merge this in. Keep any servers already there.

Save the file and restart Zed.

Ask for something astronomy_list_visible does. Zed lists the server's tools on connect and calls astronomy_list_visible itself — you do not invoke it by name.

If nothing happens, check the server is running and that astronomy mcp server's identifier in your config matches the one above exactly.

Set these first
astronomy mcp server will not start until these are set, so astronomy_list_visible never becomes available.
