Save the file and restart Claude Desktop.

Ask for something aviation_get_pireps does. Claude Desktop lists the server's tools on connect and calls aviation_get_pireps itself — you do not invoke it by name.

If nothing happens, check the server is running and that aviation weather mcp server's identifier in your config matches the one above exactly.
