Add bluesky mcp server to Gemini CLI

    Open ~/.gemini/settings.json and merge this in. Keep any servers already there.

    Save the file and restart Gemini CLI.

    Ask for something bsky_search_actors does. Gemini CLI lists the server's tools on connect and calls bsky_search_actors itself — you do not invoke it by name.

    If nothing happens, check the server is running and that bluesky mcp server's identifier in your config matches the one above exactly.

Set these first

bluesky mcp server will not start until these are set, so bsky_search_actors never becomes available.
