Save the file and restart Claude Desktop.

Ask for something fcc_compare_areas does. Claude Desktop lists the server's tools on connect and calls fcc_compare_areas itself — you do not invoke it by name.

If nothing happens, check the server is running and that fcc broadband mcp server's identifier in your config matches the one above exactly.
