Save the file and restart Cursor.

Ask for something inaturalist_find_places does. Cursor lists the server's tools on connect and calls inaturalist_find_places itself — you do not invoke it by name.

If nothing happens, check the server is running and that inaturalist mcp server's identifier in your config matches the one above exactly.
