Restart your session so the server is picked up.

Ask for something medcode_map_codes does. Claude Code lists the server's tools on connect and calls medcode_map_codes itself — you do not invoke it by name.

If nothing happens, check the server is running and that medical codes mcp server's identifier in your config matches the one above exactly.
