Save the file and restart Cursor.

Ask for something npi_search_providers does. Cursor lists the server's tools on connect and calls npi_search_providers itself — you do not invoke it by name.

If nothing happens, check the server is running and that npi providers mcp server's identifier in your config matches the one above exactly.
