Save the file and restart Claude Desktop.

Ask for something wikipedia_get_summary does. Claude Desktop lists the server's tools on connect and calls wikipedia_get_summary itself — you do not invoke it by name.

If nothing happens, check the server is running and that wikipedia mcp server's identifier in your config matches the one above exactly.
