Open ~/.config/zed/settings.json and merge this in. Keep any servers already there.

Save the file and restart Zed.

Ask for something forcedream_summarize_document does. Zed lists the server's tools on connect and calls forcedream_summarize_document itself — you do not invoke it by name.

If nothing happens, check the server is running and that mcp server's identifier in your config matches the one above exactly.

Set these first
mcp server will not start until these are set, so forcedream_summarize_document never becomes available.
