Save the file and restart Claude Desktop.

Ask for something dependency_vulnerability_scan does. Claude Desktop lists the server's tools on connect and calls dependency_vulnerability_scan itself — you do not invoke it by name.

If nothing happens, check the server is running and that mcp knowledge's identifier in your config matches the one above exactly.
