Open .vscode/mcp.json and merge this in. Keep any servers already there.

Save the file and restart VS Code.

Ask for something open_session does. VS Code lists the server's tools on connect and calls open_session itself — you do not invoke it by name.

If nothing happens, check the server is running and that k402's identifier in your config matches the one above exactly.

k402 will not start until these are set, so open_session never becomes available.
