Open .vscode/mcp.json and merge this in. Keep any servers already there.

Save the file and restart VS Code.

Ask for something get_player does. VS Code lists the server's tools on connect and calls get_player itself — you do not invoke it by name.

If nothing happens, check the server is running and that livetennisapi mcp's identifier in your config matches the one above exactly.

Set these first
livetennisapi mcp will not start until these are set, so get_player never becomes available.
