Save the file and restart Claude Desktop.

Ask for something schwab_update_patron_credential does. Claude Desktop lists the server's tools on connect and calls schwab_update_patron_credential itself — you do not invoke it by name.

If nothing happens, check the server is running and that schwab mcp's identifier in your config matches the one above exactly.
