Add Playwright to Claude Code

    Run this in your project directory. 

claude mcp add playwright-mcp -- npx -y @playwright/mcp

    Restart your session so the server is picked up.

  2. 03

    Ask for something browser_take_screenshot does. Claude Code lists the server's tools on connect and calls browser_take_screenshot itself — you do not invoke it by name.

  3. 04

    If nothing happens, check the server is running and that Playwright's identifier in your config matches the one above exactly.
