Save the file and restart Windsurf.

Ask for something auto_loan does. Windsurf lists the server's tools on connect and calls auto_loan itself — you do not invoke it by name.

If nothing happens, check the server is running and that BoringToolsKit's identifier in your config matches the one above exactly.
