Open ~/.config/zed/settings.json and merge this in. Keep any servers already there.

Save the file and restart Zed.

Ask for something mark_convo_read does. Zed lists the server's tools on connect and calls mark_convo_read itself — you do not invoke it by name.

If nothing happens, check the server is running and that send16 mcp's identifier in your config matches the one above exactly.

Set these first
send16 mcp will not start until these are set, so mark_convo_read never becomes available.
