Save the file and restart Cursor.

Ask for something tickerbot_list_tickers does. Cursor lists the server's tools on connect and calls tickerbot_list_tickers itself — you do not invoke it by name.

If nothing happens, check the server is running and that mcp server's identifier in your config matches the one above exactly.

Set these first
mcp server will not start until these are set, so tickerbot_list_tickers never becomes available.
