Open .vscode/mcp.json and merge this in. Keep any servers already there.

Save the file and restart VS Code.

Ask for something start_session does. VS Code lists the server's tools on connect and calls start_session itself — you do not invoke it by name.

If nothing happens, check the server is running and that VirWave Breathe's identifier in your config matches the one above exactly.

VirWave Breathe will not start until these are set, so start_session never becomes available.
