Save the file and restart Gemini CLI.

Ask for something sqlguard_balance does. Gemini CLI lists the server's tools on connect and calls sqlguard_balance itself — you do not invoke it by name.

If nothing happens, check the server is running and that SQLGuard — permission before production writes's identifier in your config matches the one above exactly.
