Save the file and restart Windsurf.

Ask for something nodeping_get_check does. Windsurf lists the server's tools on connect and calls nodeping_get_check itself — you do not invoke it by name.

If nothing happens, check the server is running and that NodePing MCP by usefulapi's identifier in your config matches the one above exactly.
