Ask for something vtiger_lookup does. Gemini CLI lists the server's tools on connect and calls vtiger_lookup itself — you do not invoke it by name.

If nothing happens, check the server is running and that Vtiger MCP by usefulapi's identifier in your config matches the one above exactly.
