Save the file and restart Cursor.

Ask for something genes_indexed does. Cursor lists the server's tools on connect and calls genes_indexed itself — you do not invoke it by name.

If nothing happens, check the server is running and that sniff mcp's identifier in your config matches the one above exactly.
