Save the file and restart Claude.ai.

compare_protocols is surfaced in the connector's menu once the server is linked. Unlike a tool, you invoke it deliberately — Claude.ai will not call it for you.

If it does not appear, check that Hive Intelligence MCP is connected and that you are looking at its prompts rather than its tools.
Claude on the web takes a remote URL and completes OAuth in the browser. For a packaged server use Claude Desktop or Claude Code instead. Claude.ai docs
