Save the file and restart Claude Desktop.

Ask for something create_monitor does. Claude Desktop lists the server's tools on connect and calls create_monitor itself — you do not invoke it by name.

If nothing happens, check the server is running and that RateAPI — live US mortgage, auto, HELOC, personal & deposit rates's identifier in your config matches the one above exactly.
