Editmamei Connect, the hosted version further down, works differently.+ ## Editmamei Connect (hosted)+ Editmamei Connect is a separate product: Editmamei running on Editmamei's server instead of your computer, as a remote MCP server. You add it to Claude as a connector, sign up with your email address, then send a photo from your phone or laptop, describe the edit in plain words, and download the finished photo from a link that lasts 24 hours. Nothing is installed and no photo editor is needed on your side.+ - Photo editing on the photos you send: remove an object by naming it, heal dust spots and blemishes, fix brightness and color, portrait-mode background blur, light skin smoothing, a new sky, one-step looks you can save and reuse+ - Product photos: white or studio backgrounds, transparent cutouts, the same item in other colors, and a check against Amazon, Etsy, Shopify and eBay image guidelines+ - Social posts: crops for each platform, carousel slides, story frames, photo grids, memes and stickers+ - Batches of up to ten photos with the same edit+ - Unlike the local product, Connect receives the photos you send: they are uploaded to Editmamei's server for editing and deleted on the schedule in Connect's own Privacy Policy+ - New accounts start with free credits; editing time is paid for in credits+ - Connect has its own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, separate from Editmamei's+ More: https://connect.editmamei.com/llms.txt+ - Connect: 150 free credits to start plus up to 50 more each month; credit packs from $7 and monthly plans from $10+ - [Connect](https://editmamei.com/connect): Editmamei Connect, the hosted version for Claude+ - [Connect app](https://connect.editmamei.com): sign-up, setup steps, every Connect tool, and Connect's Terms and Privacy Policy

− > Editmamei is a local MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that lets an AI assistant drive Adobe Photoshop on your own computer using natural language. It is not a web app, not a cloud image editor, and does not upload your files anywhere.− Editmamei installs as an npm package and runs locally on macOS or Windows alongside your existing copy of Adobe Photoshop. An AI client (such as Claude Desktop or any MCP-compatible client) sends instructions to Editmamei, which translates them into native Photoshop operations via ExtendScript. Your PSD files stay on your machine. No pixels leave your computer unless your AI client itself sends them (e.g. for a preview).− - A local MCP server that bridges AI assistants and Adobe Photoshop− - GIMP support, in beta: Editmamei can also drive GIMP 3.2, which it runs in the background with nothing installed into GIMP. The beta covers non-destructive adjustments (kept as live filters in the saved .xcf), masks, crop, resize, rotate and flip, .xcf saving, metadata-stripped export, and previews. It works on Windows, macOS and Linux (including the Flathub Flatpak).− - Local-first: your photo files and documents stay on your computer; Editmamei itself uploads no image content− - Reports anonymous, content-free usage data (opt-out); never your images, documents, or file paths− - Not a cloud image editor (no uploads, no cloud processing of your images)− - Not a replacement for Photoshop — it orchestrates Photoshop, it does not replace it− - **Pro Edition**: Paid license, activated over the same package. Adds the develop-grade and precision toolkit: Camera Raw develop as a re-editable Smart Filter, precision placement (name a location, get verified geometry), named-object masks, a 468-point face mesh with feature selections, subject-instance targeting, warp, the reproducible-template system, and Photoshop Actions plus ExtendScript scripting. Pro's features are Photoshop-only; GIMP support is the same in both editions.− - [Product](https://editmamei.com/product): capabilities and how it works− - [Install guide](https://github.com/editmamei/editmamei/blob/dev/docs/getting-started.md)+ > Editmamei is a photo editor MCP (Model Context Protocol) server for desktop Adobe Photoshop: the editing assistant you always needed.
